The Blitz Max Plus DR is a moderate, fixed-center-of-gravity deep runner designed for depths of 5-6.5m.
A fixed center of gravity offers many advantages over a shifting center of gravity crankbait. The lack of internal rails not only provides a brisk, nimble swimming motion, but also offers numerous performance features that directly translate to better fishing results, such as quick start after getting stuck and the ability to recover after hitting something.
On the other hand, although this varies depending on wind speed, once the lip size exceeds a certain threshold relative to the body size, the lure starts to rotate and stall during casting, potentially resulting in insufficient casting distance and preventing it from swimming through the desired zone.
