At the core is a lightweight 24-ton carbon rod blank featuring Okuma’s Ultimate Flex Reinforced (UFR) tip technology—offering the ideal combination of casting precision, sensitivity, and backbone.
The Veros spinning reel delivers refined engineering built for saltwater performance, starting with a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear and a 3+1 rubber-sealed stainless steel bearing system that ensures smooth operation and protects against saltwater intrusion. A rigid metal handle minimizes flex under pressure, while Okuma’s Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) technology promotes airflow to dry moisture faster and reduce corrosion. The multi-disc Carbonite and stainless steel drag system delivers consistent, powerful pressure during the fight, and a machined aluminum spool provides clean line lay and lasting durability.
