The wind doesn't quit on a Midwest lake. It runs flat across open ice with nothing to stop it, and the temperature drops the longer you sit. The Ice Raider Jacket is built for that exact fight: a waterproof, insulated extreme-cold system for anglers who refuse to pack it in when the bite turns on.
We started with a commercial-grade 2.5-layer shell, the same kind of waterproof, windproof, fully seam-sealed construction that has kept commercial fishermen working through the worst weather on earth. Fully sealed means slush, spray off the auger, and a wet day on the bucket stay on the outside where they belong. The 25K/15K waterproof and breathable rating handles the long sit and the hard drill without soaking through.
Inside, body-mapped G-Loft Eco Plus insulation regulates heat where you need it and trims it where you don't, holding a working range from 40F down to -30F with proper layering. G-Loft retains its warmth even when wet, which matters on the ice, where everything you touch (line, fish, the hole itself) is cold and damp. Pair that with ThermoFloat technology and you get insulation that also adds float assistance, a real margin on early and late ice when the surface can't always be trusted.
The details earn their place. Shingled neoprene cuffs cut the wind at the wrists and seal heat inside. Fish fleece hand pockets give you somewhere to bring your fingers back to life after you've handled a wet walleye in single digits. PU-coated pit zips dump heat fast when you're drilling a spread of holes, then close down without leaking when you settle in. An adjustable 3-point storm hood, reflective safety details on the arms and hood for low-light setups and pack-outs, Hypalon ice pick lock-downs, a hook remover dock, hand warmer wrist pockets, and magnetic billow pockets round out a jacket built to be lived in from a frozen morning to drilling holes at last light.
This is cold-weather gear with the same purpose behind everything we make: keep you out longer, focused on the bite, not the forecast.

THERMOFLOAT TECHNOLOGY
Warmth that floats. Movement that doesn't fight you.
ThermoFloat is body-mapped to do two jobs at once. It combines heat-insulating foam with float assistance, building warmth and a safety margin into the same panels, so you get added buoyancy on unpredictable early and late ice without strapping on anything extra.
Because it's body-mapped, ThermoFloat puts material where you need warmth and pulls it away from your joints and high-movement areas. That means you keep full dexterity to tie a hook, work a jig, and run your auger, with no bulk fighting you at the elbows and shoulders. Warmth where it counts, mobility where it matters.
