Thorne Bros Custom Rod & Tackle is looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our rod shop team full-time. We are passionate about fishing, craftsmanship, and customer service, and we’re looking for someone who shares that same enthusiasm.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with custom rod building and rod shop operations
- Help maintain organization and workflow within the shop
- Support customers in-store with product questions and service
- Work alongside experienced team members to learn rod building techniques and processes
- Assist with inventory, packaging, and other day-to-day shop responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
We are hiring for attitude, work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn. Prior rod building experience is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for fishing or general fishing knowledge
- Mechanical and tool proficiency or hands-on experience working with tools and equipment
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Basic computer knowledge and comfort with technology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
