DeLong Kilr Eel Swimbait 8"

The 8" KILR EEL is the smallest in DeLong's line of Musky lures. It weighs about 1oz. , has one 8/0 Mustad hook molded in the head and a 5/0 hook in the tail. Like all of DeLong's lures it has the famous Delong Scent molded right in. KILR EELS work equally well on Pike, Walleye, Stripers, Bluefish, Cobia, and numerous other saltwater species. The KILR EEL looks just like an injured baitfish. It darts in all directions with the belly rolling up. Suspends extremely well when stopped. It will sink, but very slowly.

DeLong Kilr Eel Swimbait 13"

The 13" KILR EEL weighs about 3oz. It has two 8/0 Mustad hooks molded in joined by 135 lb test wire." Try to find a stronger rig in a soft plastic Musky Lure." The 13" EEL is the larger version of our 8" KILR EEL. It has virtually the same action but with a little more tail whip. Like the 8" EEL it rides most of the time with the hooks up. Making these lures surprisingly very weedless. A very hard downward snap of the rod tip will actually make this lure turn around and swim away from the boat. This action closely resembles the circle an injured baitfish will make.
