Esox Cobra™ Tails exhibit a unique swimming action and can be used in a wide variety of presentations. Cobra Tails are the perfect bait for contour fishing shallow to deep structure. Cobra Tails swim and drop horizontally and assume a stand-up posture on the bottom, making them ideal for fishing top-to-bottom on deep weed edges, points, drop-offs and deep humps.

Esox Cobra™ Tails are the ideal bait for fishing in and around weeds, making them an excellent presentation when fish are holding in deep cover. Cobra Tails can be effectively pulled through coontail and cabbage weed. A shake of the rod will remove weeds and keep the bait swimming, weed free. With Cobra Tails, weeds are seldom brought back to the boat.

Bait Rigs Esox Cobra Jig

The Esox Cobra™ Jig is a finesse swimmer head designed specifically for Muskie and Pike utilizing a variety of plastic body baits. It is ideal for shallow water, slow fall and slop presentations. The Cobra Jig imparts a unique swimming, gliding action, when used with lizards, creatures, reapers and other plastic body baits.

The Esox Cobra™ Jig penetrates weeds making it an amazing jig for penetrating cover. The unique shape of the Cobra's hook allows the exposed hook to slip through weeds; a shake of the rod when the jig contacts weeds, cleans the bait free and keeps the jig moving. Rarely are weeds brought back to the boat. For maximum effect, a rubber band weed guard can be attached between the hook barb and the eyelet.
