I have been on the river quite a bit. Fishing has been up and down. We have had allot of cool wind of the lake which can shut down the fish. But yesterday we finally got some warm weather. Most fish have been coming on crawler harness in 4-11ft of water. Fish are scattered from the dam down to the bay. On the weekends the trick is to get away from the crowds and find some untouched fish. Today I was out with some clients for a little bit and we landed 19 walleyes from 15 to 24 inches.

Sounds like they were nice fish. Every once in a while a school of waldos will make a showing up along the breakwater in Two Harbor. They tend to be longer fish but not as heavy as their river bretheren.
