Bobb-o and got out for about a hr today on the upper miss,not much action in the short of time but we had a little fun.

We were pitching Lindy Max Gap jigs, an Xchange jigs with a 3and 1/2 inch gulp minnow. wish we could have had more time but thats how it goes ..

That is a fun stretch of river up there. I have only had one opportunity to fish it but I can promise I will be back. Simply amazing fishery.

I am planning on heading up there tomorrow. Hopefully I can catch something and break my 7 time losing streak.

I had a successful day on the river. Almost all the fish were caught on #3 mepps. I had a green and black with bucktail and a red and white stripe. All the fish we caught were that size. We went to a park in Montissippi park and walked north along the shore line past the island about half mile I would guess.

We stopped in a park in town and guys in waders were catching much larger bass on lindy rigged minnows.

Oh, and between the two of us we brought in around 20 of these smaller bass. They were hitting hard and it was great fun. I wish we had waders and minnows and we could have had bigger fish.

yeah if your not on the river right now on this streach ur missing some insane multi-species action!!!! bass walleyes and crappies all goin nuts right now!!!! get it while its hot!!!
