We put one in the boat(40) and missed one last night. phantom and bulldawg. big blades brought some follows. The wind was tough took some water over the bow trolling into the wind. The old big motor in gear and steer with the trolling motor trick, yeah it was halloween. Gonna hit it again today.

Fished Rush on Monday for 7 hours in the wind. 2 follows, one was an upper 40's fish. Water was pretty clear, which was nice. Both follows on Mag Dawgs. Neither seemed very interested on the figure 8's. Slow and low is a good way to put it.

I'd bet they are the same as the metro lakes with a mix of milfoil and other weeds...foil going strong, everything else dying off.

Found a hungry fish last night, who knew the same pattern that has been working since May would still be putting fish in the boat 5 months later!

Junk weeds and milfoil were still mostly green.

More like what wasn't working....Got out all day yesterday on my favorite Western Wisconsin Lake and got skunked!!! Did not even see one... There was a mad rush at the boat ramp at dark and from talking to the others I was not alone. Threw 10's & 13's of all colors, Mag Dawgs , Ripped Jakes, ,and even worked a Smitty Jerk bait and they all yeilded the same result...nada!!! Weather looks great this week may have to take a 1/2 day of vacation and try it again...
