Maybe it was this one way back when. Appears to be a fiberglass rod with a closed face zebco.

My first favorite had to be my first rod altogether. In fact, that rod is still part of my arsenal. It's an old Shakspear Wal-Mart Special Combo that I got for a present on my birthday when I was around 10 or so. I caught countless bass on it in the slew behind my house.

My first rod was a zebco 33 combo.

Mine was a Berkely Cherrywood spinning rod. Probably about 6' and pretty sloppy by todays standards. It got broken when I was about 12 or so.

A Fenwick HMX 6'6" ML spinning rod paired with a Shimano Spirex 1000FD. I still have the rod but have replaced the reel with another Spirex.

I got my first rod and reel approximately 15 years ago. It was an Abu Gracia 7’ rod with a 6500 reel combo. My wife (girlfriend at the time) got me into muskie fishing, and I still use this combo.
