Good tips Mark!!

The fall, shallow water, trolling bite at night is definitely one of my favorite times to fish eyes. Wish I had more opportunity to do it right now but thats the way things go.

I've got an arsenal of cranks now that I like to run in the fall, from the Rapala Husky Jerk 12 & 14s, Original Floater F11 & F13, Shallow Shad Raps, X-Raps, Smithwick Rogues (Supers & Shallow Floaters), Storm Thundersticks, etc. Floaters are best pulled in 5' or less and leave the Super Rogues & HJs for the bit deeper stuff.

I tell ya... I really love the Thundersticks and I know another friend of mine who loves them as well. I just recently learned about a company called Dave's Kaboom that is making these things in more colors than you can imagine. He would be the original owner of Storm before being acquired by Normark/Rapala. More Hot-N-Tot colors than you could ever want as well! Check it out! wink

Chris,
Thanks !!
I wish I could get out more now, but I have the cold/crud going around now.(over the last 5 days or so. I would like to get back up there and do another short presentation and go over color choics/ weather conditons.

Just a FYI. Borch re-painter a few colored HJ' 14 s (two years ago) Rainwow colored (just a little brighter). They have worked well on Owasso casting from the berach area the last two weeks. Nothing big but a few in the 14-19 range.

After dark.

Keep your Prayers coming for For Shack and his family!!!!

Take care

For you shallow water trollers.. If you have any of the old models, the Rapala Husky is a killer!! Bit of a bigger profile then a original rapala for more wobble..
