What are other baits that carp like besides corn? I have heard about oatmeal balls.. but how do you make them?

I've done a couple of them and the one that worked the best for carp include:
fish oil capsules, bay scallops, garlic powder, vanilla extract, blue cheese crumbles...maybe a couple other things that I can't quite remember. add flower and water to make dough.

Whatever you have that stinks. and salt will attract fish naturally by positively charging the water immitating fleeing baitfish.

I like to use Kellog's Corn Pops to assist in holding the corn on the hook. There are times that the cereal alone will catch fish as well, but not as frequent as corn.

My best carp bait is corn flakes and vanilla extracts. let it sit for a couple day till it forms a thick paste then mold it onto your hook.
